Poema Flamenco
Saturday, July 10 8:30pm
Harrison Memorial Hall
Poema Flamenco is a tablao style flamenco troupe, from the word "tabla" meaning plank or a stage. This style is performed in a combination café and nightclub after a meal or drinks. The members of this Vancouver troupe are professional artists with diverse backgrounds, but they all share a devotion to Flamenco. Featuring Peter Mole’s flamenco guitar, the voice of cantor Luis Guitierrez, Patrick Ernst on violin and the mesmerizing movements of flamenco bailaora Karen Pitkethly, Poema Flamenco brings rumbas, passionate dancing and is sure to entertain.
